Snoring in children isn't treated as normal - which is good news, because something can usually be done
A bit of snuffling during a cold or in an awkward position is ordinary and passes in a few days.
Regular loud snoring, several nights a week, with no cold in sight, is a signal. Most often what's behind it is enlarged adenoids or tonsils.
The list worth taking to an ENT: pauses in breathing, mouth breathing, heavy sweating at night, restless sleep, and daytime sleepiness - or the opposite, a child who looks wired rather than tired.

Three kids and the loudest snorer in our house is still my husband. Nobody's booking him anything 🙃
