Sparkling water. The other four make the date seem better than it is, and on a first date you want accurate data.
A pint. It's cheap, it lasts the whole conversation, and nobody judges you for nursing one for an hour. Wine people always end up splitting a bottle and that's how a quick drink turns into a taxi home.
